Need Retina Icon

Its ok, but need Retina Display Icon

No "easy upload" - its just a gimped version of the website

For all the talk of an easy way to upload pictures directly from your computer, its the exact same way its done from the website. Why is this? Because it IS the website. All this does is open the website in a little window from the menubar. You can choose the desktop version, or the mobile version, and I challenge you to even find the upload option when viewing it as mobile. I just paid for this expecting a way to drag and drop photos or a quicker way to upload, but instead I got the website inside my menubar which isnt what I wanted, and I cant even get it to stay open if I click on something else for a moment - with monitors getting bigger, it IS possible to have more than one thing open at once and itd be nice if it would stay open when you have to briefly switch applications. This wasnt worth the money, just view the website directly.

Useless

Go to Pintrest and uset the "Open in Dashboard" freature in Safari. Pretty much the same thing.

Great

I love Pinterest and having it on my desktop makes it so much easier! I can upload my pins and repin without the hassle of having to switch around tabs on Safari. Thank you for such a great app!

its okay - but...

I wish I had read the others reviews before purchasing. It doesnt do anything different than what you can do from the website just as easily. Wish I had saved my $.99. O well, live and learn. Next time I will read reviews before purchasing.

Unnecessary

Adds nothing to using the Pinterest website. It allows you to Pin without launching a browser, yes, but you have to launch this app, and anyway who doesnt have a browser open most of the time. And the interface is not perfect: it judders and jitters in some scrolling situations.

Same…Same...

I still havent identified what is different between the web page and the app…thinking I wasted $1.99.

If not for broken offsite links its OK

I really like the facebook app from FIPLab. I expected the same with this app but unfortunately, the offsite links are broken. What does that mean? I click on an pin to take to the original website, it opens up in a browser and says OOPS!!! … Please fix it at the earliest time possible.

Pinning unsucessful

The reason I downloaded this was to be able to pin things off the internet onto pinterest, so far I have not been able to do this. Why else would I download this?

Not doing its job

I downloaded this app as I thought it would be helpful for viewing and posting in Pinterest (as it was advertised!), but so far every pin I click on to view the site has not opened. Ive received an error message on every single one (no less than 30). Ive not been able to use this app, at all and wish I had not purchased it. The regular Pinterest site works JUST FINE, this was a waste of time and money - though only $1.99 - still a waste.

Pin Pro Wins

I intentionally limit apps as much as possible, and if I installed one I dont use or is not valuable I delete it immediately, as you all probably do. Pin Pro stays. Small, easy, simple and I dont have to nav to Safari etc. I just click and boom. Good job.

Not Working

I never write app reviews but theres no other way for me to get in touch with anybody that would help. Im sure I would love this app if it worked but even after I restart my computer Pin Pro does not allow me to sign in with my existing account through facebook. It opens like normal and I click connect through facebook and then nothing loads on the page it takes me to, no matter how many times I refresh it. Hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise I will be very disapointed

Worst app ever

Do not waste your time or money with this. It does not work. There is no way to make it work. There is no way to contact the company to get help making it work.

Doesnt Even Work

It worked at first, and I loved it. But now, absolutely nothing happens when I click on the app. I tried restarting and shutting down my computer to see if that did anything, but nothing. So I thought perhaps I could delete the app and re-download it. But it wont allow me to "quit" the app. Its horribly frustrating.

Not opening on iMac 10.8.4

Just downloaded the Pro edition for my iMac. It doesnt open even after a restart. Have not found a way to contact Customer Service. Edit September 20th 2013. I never saw the icon at the top of the screen so I assumed that it wasnt opening. I was expecting the icon to be in the dock. I have the application on my iPad 1 and the iMac i3. Although Im mainly using the application on my tablet Im not having any issues anywhere. Customer Service never contacted me and for that they loose 1 star.

SUPER CRAP!!!

Doesn’t work at all, stay away, do not buy!!

Complete waste…...

I bought it some time ago and loved it. Worked flawlessly!! Now, every single link is nothing but a 404, and it I can’t post anything. Or even get logged back into it becaue of error messages.

Wasn’t interested … then---

Daughter said that her Mom & I would have fun (?) with this — she was correct. Once I figured out what was happening I found this to be fun. Had to Google a few things, like pinning photos and pages that did not have the “PinIt” red P, then it became easy to use. Actually received a reply to a question, from the developer, a vrey nice gentleman and he was quite helpful.

doesnt work

dont waste your money

Pretty decent

I purchased this assuming it would work well as Pinterest but on my Mac Book Air. It installed okay but when I went to launch it, absolutely nothing happened. I tried several times and finally rebooted my Mac Air. It did launch when I rebooted. You should note that the app is actually at the top of your screen and runs in the background and you just need to click on that to launch it. It is a small rectangle with a P in it. It is pretty decent overall and I feel it was worth the money.
